Trustpoint.One is pleased to partner with an Am Law 200 civil defense litigation law firm in its search for a Litigation Paralegal. This is a direct hire, full-time role, and is primarily on-site (4 days in office; 1 day remote after initial 90 day training period) out of the Firm's Cincinnati, OH offices.
Primary duties of the Litigation Paralegal include but are not limited to:
- Obtaining, reviewing, and analyzing medical records, financial records, and employment records;
- Summarizing medical records and providing chronology;
- Assisting with trial preparation by preparing trial notebooks, exhibits, and witness files;
- Compiling evidence; managing files; and managing court docket calendar;
- Communicating with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel;
- Providing status reports;
- Performing legal research;
- Researching and analyzing case issues; and
- Performing other tasks as needed.
All candidates must be able to work at a computer screen for a sustained amount of time. Infrequent lifting and carrying of up to 30 pounds.
The successful Litigation Paralegal will have:
- At least 3-5 years of litigation experience (civil defense; insurance defense);
- Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree;
- Paralegal Certificate from ABA-approved program;
- An eye for detail and be highly organized;
- Strong communication skills;
- A desire to demonstrate teamwork and willingness to learn new skills.

Work week is 37.5 hours with OT starting at 40 hours. Billable hours: 1536/year.
